Who Knew Smut Was Such Hard Work?
Finally, cabin!fic. FINALLY, YOU ARE THE FINISHED.

You were supposed to be a simple little PWP, fanfic. Thirty-seven pages later, I ask you the ultimate question: what the Hell went wrong?

Baby, It's Cold Outside Chapter 3

Once again, I disclaim any and all responsibility for the scenes of hotness. I'm responsible for a fair amount of the talking and the buildup and the Ken dialogue and actions. [livejournal.com profile] cards_slash provides the hot, hot manlovings, and for that we thank her for making this monster worth reading.

We must also thank her for her willingness to work out just what the Hell position Schuldig and Ken wound up in after their impromptu wrestling match. No, we don't know what they thought they were doing either.

That said, it wasn't the sex that was causing all the difficulties. The holdup this time was all my fault. We had the fic at the enviable state of 'mostly ended', but for some reason I just couldn't manage to write the final scenes without making them rather - well - boring. I have no idea if they're any more interesting now, but they're done and quite honestly, where this fic is concerned, that's quite good enough for me.

Or it should be, but.

But.

... okay, for some reason Card and I managed to go from NO SEQUELS ANY TIME AT ALL EVER to YAY WE WILL START SEQUEL ON SUNDAY within the space of about five minutes last night. This was actually no bad thing, as it proved to be considerably easier for me to write the sequel set-up ending we ultimately went with than it would have been to wrap everything up neatly.

The end result is that Card is actually working on the opening as I type this post. It's probably safer not to ask how this happened. No alcohol was involved, but we were both very tired.

So. Coming this fall: more snowbound shenanigans?
