It's raining.

And I don't really have a lot to say.

Have been, le gasp, actually writing over the past day or so. I got attacked by a plotbunny, or rather attacked again by the plotbunny that has been savaging me pretty much since I started my badfic journal. And I've decided to give in to it because in all honesty, I am getting pretty annoyed about the convention this fic's trying to take... um... a different view on.

Anyway, I was thinking of posting it to my account at the hideously-designed pit of truly terrible pornography that is aff.net given that it's a sequel to the one fic I have up there - though it's not particularly R-rated - but since the 'add stuff' element of the site's down and won't be accepting new submissions until getting on for March 1, and I want to get this thing posted hopefully tomorrow (I'm five pages in and can't see it being much longer than this, so I'm hoping to have it done by close of play today), looks like it's going to have to be the Pit of Voles after all.

Maybe, if I keep this up and work hard, I'll be able to get the prologue and first chapter of the Mary Sue parody out this week as well - I only need to finish Chapter Three and I'll be able to post that. I need to be a bit ahead of myself, though, to allow time for revisions.

I also have a plot for my Weiss Prequel, so yay for that.

... yeah, said plot's a bit cheesy but hey, the way I see it this fic is going to be more about team dynamics and playing with a three-man version of Weiss (and a seventeen year old Ken) than about the actual plot, for which I am recycling another few old OCs who are doing absolutely nothing decisive at present and I'm sure will be quite happy to create mayhem in a fanfic for the sake of actually having something to do for once. Though I don't like one of these guys' names and I kind of want to change it. 'Kurai' seems rather gratuitously weird when applied to an albino. Though, now I think of it, that name's actually kind of amusing.

(Or at least I'm pretty sure it'll amuse Ken, so maybe I'll keep it in.)

I'm hoping to give this new fic a kind of Drama CD-ish feel, so expect weird shit and nastiness. Only with, you know, slash. Besides, Brunette Youji + No Need to Characterize Aya = Happy Laila.

Also, damn near nobody writes about Weiss before Aya showed up. They write about Aya before he hits Weiss, but not the other way round. And going by what Youji says in An Assassin and White Shaman Weiss have been active as a three-man team for, um, two years. About which we hear nothing. WHY IS THERE NO FIC ABOUT THIS? It's a perfect place to stick a helluva lot of fangirl speculation and gratuitous Youji x Ken slash, and yet nobody seems to want to speculate. Sigh.

But I'm going to go cut this short here, since I'm posting only for the sake of it and to get my brain in gear (don't ask what time I got up today: it's much safer, but I was writing fic for most of the night). I'm going to go make myself some food and go write now, because I want to get this fic finished, start posting the Mary Sue parody, carry on planning this prequel and... oh yeah... Seuche.
