Return of the Terror Meme
Whee, I like wasting time doing daft memes. Yes, I know - memes are stupid, pointless and don't really mean a whole lot of anything, even if you sometimes get some interestring results back off them - I'm thinking of making one for Mary Sues, myself. There's just one problem - they're a lot of fun, even if it does take a while to find a decent one. Or at least they're more fun than revising, at any rate.
I did this one with my pen name rather than my Lj user ID. It seemed apposite, after all, given that the meme in question was about fanfic writing. Wasn't thinking much of it while I waited for the page to finish loading but then I actually got the answers back...
... I mean, Jesus. Check this thing out!
Worrying, isn't it? There I was thinking that memes are pointless and utterly unable to provide any insight into an individual's character whatsoever and then this thing shows up and I'm forced to face the unpalatable truth. It knows me. The meme sees into my very soul, recognizes it's warped, blackened angst ficcer's interior and lays the very essence of it bare for all eyes to see... the power and skill of it, it terrifies me! I guess I have to take everything back about memes being pointless, because that one certainly isn't anything of the sort. The perspicacity of the thing almost scares me.
After that, the next one was a bit of a letdown. It's just another random 'I did it cause it had pictures' quiz, and about the only remarkable thing about it was at least I didn't come out looking like a total Mary Sue this time...
My inner anime fairy reminds me of Belial, which is at least mildly amusing.
And then there's this. Oh, this.
Sadly for me, they didn't have a fandom I really felt attatched to so I just ran through the lot and picked the answer I liked best. There were other Sue Generators, but I liked this one best because it actually generated a Mary Sue Name from my username, which made it all the better. I never know how to handle other Mary Sue generators - should I put in myscreen name, my user name or my paradigm Sue name? Sue Names - God, they make me laugh. The funniest thing about them is you can just bet the author is an incredibly mousy little bundle named Suzie Balch and she's fantasizing herself as some sultry, purple-eyed sex goddess with the impluasible name of Aurora DeBeumarchais....
I still want to make a Mary Sue Generator at some point - and, when I do, I am definitely adding my own collection of Sue Names...
Anyway, that was a pleasant enough waste of time. Now I'm going to go eat something, surprisingly enough because I'm feeling really hungry. It's tipping it down with rain outside, which is nice. I like rain. I like not being out in it at the moment as well, it's very nice.
*stares aimlessly out of window for a while then snaps out of it and goes to do something more productive*

I saw you took the Sue Meme. I had to go make my own in response to that, just because. I had fun dreaming up a huge list of Sue Names for it, by the way...
Don't worry about the email too much - I will be grateful for it whenever you send it out. ^^ I already know of a couple things I want to rant about, though, which I won't be going into on LJ because it'd just be too weird. Oh well. Glad you like the layout by the way. I mainly like the way the user pics sit in their little squares.
It's not raining any more unfortunately, and I need to go to bed so I can actually revise for this damned exam I'm already convinced I am going to fail. Oh well, right now I'm so completely bogged down with college and stuff that I honestly couldn't care less if I pass or I fail, just as long as I've done it and the week's out of the way...
And don't worry about your brain - right now mine isn't working either.

I took your Sue Meme! I got the most wonderful name. Loved it. And I enjoyed being able to specify the character I wanted to throw myself at...
[I like the way the pictures sit in the little squares as well- it's cute in a gemoetric sort of way (and it's really sad when I start thinking layouts are cute)]
I'm feeling the same way about my impending exams- unfortunately I still have about a week until the bulk of mine actually begin. Come on, exams, let's go already. Before my brain completely melts for the summer.

Glad you liked my Sue meme. I loved dreaming up the names for that. I even went back to edit it and add a few more because I came up with some seriously stupid ones the night before my last exam. What can I say except I was stressed, I seriously couldn't sleep, and my brain was running riot on me. Half of it was full of pathophysiology and it was fighting for control over the general background noise of Ken and fanfic.
I should be able to get an answer to that email out soon enough now my exams have finished. The brain is slowly getting back to normal, so with any luck it shouldn't take long. Best of luck with your upcoming finals, by the way! I know how it is to just want them done and dusted. I'm sure you'll do fine.
Oh... who's that in your new icon?

What better things to do on the night before an exam than think of Sue names? I usually spend mine playing around on the internet and thinking 'I should start studying sometime soon.' I'm such a procrastinator.
Thanks for the luck! ^^ I don't think I'll have too much trouble- I just wish they were starting say, Monday, and not Thursday. The sooner they're done, the sooner I can go home.
The new icon features Dio and Luciola from 'Last Exile.' They're such cute boys. I love my Ken one to bits, but it was time for a change. What can I say, I'm flighty.

I swear I did study the night before my exams. I really did. It was just that by the time I got to bed my head was so full of anatomy and physiology that I simply couldn't relax. So I had terrible trouble getting off to sleep, and had to lie there for ages staring at the wall and trying to think pleasant things.
God knows how that led to a bunch of ridiculous Mary Sue names besieging me and insisting I get out of bed to write them down, but somehow it did. Ah, my poor head. Still, how was I supposed to resist the compelling power of classic Sue nonsense names like 'Enigma Therese', 'Babylon Silvester' and 'Fox LaVelle'? It's no wonder they forced me out of bed, really.
I'm sure you'll do fine with your exams. :) And that icon is cute! I only wish you could have more than three icons. I love all the space I have for Ken icons. I have 11 uploaded, so I could still make four more...
