But to be totally honest I'm doing myself no favors and I need to just bite the bullet and get on with it, even if it means asking someone else to make the call for me and present me with a fait accompli. Probably the best solution, really, and I've coped before.

For now, though, there is nothing to do but what I always do when contemplating future unpleasantness, which is totally ignore it and hope it goes away. Okay, so this update is going to be POINTLESS. Pointless because I want to write (stage 2 for me in dealing with unhappiness, right after take a nap: take it out on Ken) and pointless because I want to get my emo off the top of my livejournal, which I guess means it's unnecessary picture post time and since I'm out of sunsets that likely means Gaia avatars. Bah, oh well.

Right. So here we have the moment where I realize that as I have a male avatar who nine times out of ten is a goddamn hymn to crossdressing, it would probably make more sense to just, you know, have a female avatar in the first place. So I did that, and then decided that the cosplay-related name was stupid as I was no longer cosplaying at all, and changed my username to seven dials. Because I wanted something vaguely Victorian and you know, BOOK, and also legerdemain (which would have been my first choice of gender-neutral screenname) wasn't available. Taken, of course, by the usual account which hasn't signed in for five years, meaning that I had to come up with something different. Oh well.

Also, I needed something gender-neutral. Anyway.

The actual inspiration for the gender change was the Victorian clothing update, something I'd been hoping would be added for ages, and I was damn sure I wasn't going to try and do that in drag. At some point I'll probably go back to a male avatar for a bit, but as you only get two free gender changes before they start charging you a steadily-increasing amount to change bases, I think I'll let that one wait until I'm really, definitely after a change.


The last one, my current, was meant to just be an interim avatar while I waited for another item I own to get its act together and give me all of the poses it contains, but as it is I'm actually very pleased with it and think I may be keeping it like that for rather longer than I planned. I mean, it's purple and black. I finally made a decent purple and black avatar that wasn't about to cave in under the weight of its own sheer ridiculous capital-G GAWTHINESS. Plus, she has a sword and a kitty. What more could I want?

Okay, now to make Ken suffer for my sins. I know, I'm fucked up.
