... yes, I stayed up for this. Also to talk to
kay_cricketed, but I know damn well I would have been up to watch the results come in even if I hadn't had anyone online to talk to.
I've been trying my best to ignore the election results all evening because I don't take to sustained tension well. I just took a couple peeks at the projections because part of me wanted to know, but I didn't stay for long because I was scared my interest might jinx it. Damn it all, I've been on edge about this election and I couldn't even vote because I don't even live in the right country! But Ia lot of my friends do and I know that most of them are Democrats, so I was worried.
Thankfully, I can stop worrying now. Just so's you know, guys, if I could have voted, I'd have voted for Obama too. Thankfully I didn't have to because clearly you all went and did it for me. Can I say 'landslide'? I DO BELIEVE I CAN.
Now, for my celebratory screencap.

From what I heard polls haven't even closed in Alaska yet and McCain just conceded the election. I didn't manage to watch all of it, but I saw a good part courtesy of streaming video. (Why do I not remember I can do this? Damn, I'm such a bad net junkie. Must not forget about it before Obama makes his speech.) I felt a teensy bit sorry for him because I'd feel sorry for anyone having to publically bite an entire orchard full of lemons and having your ass so comprehensively handed to you in a Presidential election's really gotta hurt quite a lot, but HAH. HAH.
Thank you, America.
