Stasis

Okay, so it's Tuesday afternoon and not Monday night, but never mind - it wasn't for wont of trying and and at least the thing's working now.

Maybe I did mess up by uploading the document in .txt format rather than .html. Maybe, because this computer hates me, I did have to go through the entire document removing all the HTML tags I laboriously added to it last night. Maybe I have got a headache as a result of it thanks to the compelling wobbliness of my parents' monitor. But it's done. It's up. I have managed to post 'Stasis'!

I don't know exactly when I'll be uploading 'Resurgence' (note to self: remember to save document as .html file, and not .txt), though I'd like to do it tonight I don't know if I'll be able to, partly because ff.net is still giving me an argument. I suspect it may have something to do with this computer. Every time it goes into document manager, I get the thrilling 'document uploaded, preview here' page and not the actual page I need for an upload. The problem: I haven't uploaded any documents at the moment. Very useful, you must admit. This machine doesn't seem to like loading form fields or something.

Yes, I am getting more than a little annoyed with this machine, for all I am pathetically grateful it's actually let me post something. I'd just use the laptop but - surprise, surprise - there's a problem with the modem. It won't dial up. It says there's no dial tone or something, which is a filthy lie. Stupid thing.

Oh well. If all else fails, I'll just go back to London tomorrow afternoon and do it there.
