... but I just changed my LJ layout for the first time in over a year. Apologies to
anatari who had it first, but the colors are so pretty and it's so clean. I just love it too much. I hope I can be forgiven.
I don't do this very often, but to be totally honest fun though the cherry blossom was I was beginning to get a teensy bit bored with that. Plus, it really was very pink. Much as I love pink in moderation, it really was a bit much. Hence this new layout courtesy of the frankly awesome
grrliz, which is a lot cleaner and also involves some other colors, like blue. The real good thing is that because it's not totally pink-free I don't have to change my default icon, and I don't want to do that. I have a lot of love for this icon.
Being as I am who I am, I've made myself a couple of quick and dirty user icons to replace that weird little bald-head thing and the community icon, because they just don't go, augh. I've also played about with the color values of the borders on the Highly Esteemed Ken Mood Theme so that they're a slightly better match for the new layout. This was not, strictly speaking, necessary, but it would bug me if it hadn't been done.
To-do list involves going back through my old entries and checking that my gratuitous picspams are still actually legible (and if not doing something about that, like having an anyuerism) fixing my icon tables again because as usual when I layout change the table widths aren't quite right and will therefore need to be re-jigged so that they work. Or, failing that, seeing if I can tweak this layout's CSS so that the widths and things don't need to be messed around with.
I may try the CSS first, because all things considered it's going to be quicker and I'm lazy.

s2expressive. This has saved me so much time and stress you wouldn't believe.
