I should not have spent so long doing this. Not when it's really utterly pointless and there are lost of other things I could should would be doing instead if I wasn't doing this. Like eating. Or writing. Or doing another MST. Or staring into space. Or lying about my update date...

... not much, I know, but they are other possibilities. Instead, I'm not. I'm doing another stupid meme-or-maybe-not-but-it's-something that I found on devida's Journal. These things are terrible. You (that is, I) know you (or rather I) shouldn't be doing them, but you (I) do them anyway, just because they're there. God damn the Internet and its ridiculous time-wasting possibilities. What is a meme but a facetiously 'creative' way of filling up time that could be spent productively getting to know our neighbors, or taking long walks, or reading the Collected Works of Charles Dickens, or taking up watercolor painting, or volunteering at a homeless shelter?

I blame Al Gore. This 'internets' thing was his idea, wasn't it? No wonder he can't get elected.

I initially tried making the larger card thingy devida actually had on her journal but that card didn't seem to like my form fields or somesuch because the title ended up somewhere in the region of New Mexico and not in the box thing the way it was supposed to, so I just made this littler thingum instead because it was a bit prettier and having invested all this time into this meme-ish thing I WANTED TO MAKE SOMETHING, DAMMIT. The idea of a LJ trading card amuses me, perhaps because I have a very simple mind, perhaps because the room smells like paint fumes.
