Yeah, you would think that was why she'd gone into nursing - it certainly wouldn't be for the money because it's not the kind of job you do for the salary because the salary is laughable. Though going by her actions I really don't know what she was thinking. I love my job, so it kind of pisses me off that she (if, as I might assume from her behavior) doesn't and is obviously going to make a real half-assed thing of it as a result. If you aren't prepared to do your best, why bother doing something? It's stupid.

The worst thing is, when someone doesn't pull their goddamed weight like that, the rest of us end up working twice as hard to make up for it. Hate to use such an overused phrase but nursing genuinely is a job you do as a team, and if someone isn't going to try they make it harder on all of us. And next time I don't know if I'm even going to bother asking nicely, I might just turn into a Bitch Queen round her... or, maybe, I'll be parodically polite. Not that she'd necessarily understand that I was taking the Michael.
